Biography
Andrei Linde — physics (inflation theory) with roots in the Fluent
Andrei Linde developed chaotic inflation theory, transforming cosmology's account of the Big Bang's first moments. Born in Moscow in 1948, he emigrated to the United States in 1990 and joined Stanford University, where he remains a professor.
"Linde left the USSR for CERN in 1988, then settled permanently at Stanford in 1990."

Tracing the roots — USSR
Trained at Moscow State University and LEBEDEV Physical Institute, Linde forged his foundational ideas within Soviet theoretical physics culture — a tradition of bold, mathematics-first cosmology that shaped his willingness to challenge consensus models.
