Sofia Kenin is a Russian-American professional tennis player born in Moscow who emigrated to the United States as a child and went on to win the Australian Open in 2020 at age 21. She represented the United States on the WTA Tour and reached a career-high ranking of World No. 4.

Born in Moscow in 1998 and brought to the United States as a baby by her father Alexander Kenin — a former Soviet tennis player — Sofia is a product of both Russian tennis heritage (her father's coaching) and American professional tennis infrastructure.
